These are periodical (monthly and quarterly) compilations of the Institute of Economic Development of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics presenting results of the business research conducted by the Institute with the business trend survey. Research participants, that is, direct participants of the economic activity assess the current situation and formulate forecasts for the nearest future. Research results provide grounds for diagnosing the economic situation of the country in the studied period and formulating short-term forecasts. Due to the harmonisation of research methods at the international level, they also allow conducting comparative analyses.
Research results are forwarded to state authorities (the President of the Republic of Poland, Sejm and Senate and economic ministries and central administration centres), financial institutions, economic entities and representatives thereof, as well as other interested entities. They constitute a priceless source of up-to-date information on Polish economy distributed by the opinion-forming media.
