Among periodical reports published by researchers from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics annual reports devoted to the competitiveness of Polish economy – Poland should be enumerated. The competitiveness reports are drawn up and published by the Institute of World Economy of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Polish and English.
Reports are targeted at scientists, students, representatives of international organisations and government institutions, as well as entrepreneurs. They include a permanent part and a variable part. The permanent part comprises a diagnosis of the competitive position of the Polish economy and provides identification of factors influencing change of this position. The variable part includes an in-debt analysis of a subject matter selected in a given year, related to the international competitiveness, such as: significance of the service sector, development of industry 4.0, urbanisation, international cooperation, economic and institution policy, innovations etc.
The Institute of World Economy is a scientific and teaching unit operating within the Collegium of World Economy of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. The Institute conducts research on various aspects of world economy, innovativeness, competitiveness, international economic and financial relations and analyses the impact of internal factors and foreign economic cooperation on the Polish economy and its competitiveness.
Results of the research on competitiveness of the Polish economy have been published periodically – for 15 years – in Polish and English, and are available in an electronic form on the website of the Institute of World Economy.
