The purpose of the project is to carry out an in-depth analysis of communication preferences and identification and better understanding of barriers stopping the city residents from resigning from use of passenger cars as the basic means of transport. This trans-disciplinary project assumes searching for and testing potential solutions in close cooperation with residents (taking into account research methods such as co-design and living lab), city offices (Warsaw and Lublin) and enterprises with the use of modern data analysis techniques, including social studies and artificial intelligence.
The project is implemented in an international consortium comprising research units in Poland and Norway: University of Warsaw, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw University of Technology, City of Lublin, “Na Miejscu” Foundation, the Fridtjof Nansen Foundation, the Norwegian Institute for Air Research.
