Global Economic Interdependence Department

Global Economic Interdependence Department (Polish: KGWG - Katedra Globalnych Współzależności Gospodarczych) is part of the World Economy Research Institute, which aims to deepen the knowledge in order to help to understand, explain and predict the consequences of the process of globalization and the resulting interrelationships between various countries and enterprises. KGWG wants to become a recognizable (Poland- and worldwide) department of the World Economy Research Institute, which specializes in research relating to the many topics of economic globalization, and is involved in cooperation with scientific institutions, enterprises, and the public sector.

Mariusz-Jan Radło holds DSc in Economics (2015, Warsaw School of Economics - SGH) and a PhD in Economics (SGH, 2003). He gained a Master’s degree in Economics (1998) and Political Science (1999) at the Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin. He also holds a postgraduate degree in European Integration from the National School of Public Administration (Poland) and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (France). Since 2004, he has worked as a research fellow and lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics. Between 2004-2007, he was the vice president for research of the Polish Lisbon Strategy Forum at the Gdańsk Institute for Market Economics, where he was responsible for the coordination of research projects investigating macroeconomic and sector reforms in Poland. He has participated in many research and consulting projects concerning economic policy, strategy development, and sector and macroeconomic issues. He was a visiting professor and lecturer at the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark (2009 and 2010) and at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien in Austria (2011). In 2012 (June-September) he was a visiting research fellow at Corvinus University of Budapest in Hungary.
