In the 3rd quarter of 2024 the current financial confidence indicator (IRGFIN) increased (compared to the previous quarter) by 39.1 pts, to the level of 27.8 pts, the highest since the launch of this indicator in the 2nd quarter of 2022. The leading financial confidence indicator (irgfin), representing the outlook for the 4th quarter of 2024, was set at 14.0 pts, highlighting some optimism for the financial sector also in the near future.
The biggest contribution to the rise in the current financial confidence indicator came from considerable improvements in the sector’s generated profit and operating result. Apart from that, the sector acknowledged better results with regard to general conditions for doing business as well as perceived risk.
