Researcher's at the Department are members and founding members of many research associations. The Department regularly works with other research institutions. Below are some examples from recent years.
- Polish Association of Economic History
The Department took the initiative to found PAEH, the biggest organization of Polish economic history reesarchers. Its members formed the first Board of the organization, and continue to work with it.
- Polish-Ukrainian Economic and Social History Forum
In 2017 the Department started cooperation with the History Department of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. So far three Forums have taken place: two in Warsaw and one in Lviv.
