Prof. Bień participated in numerous programs and trainings in the fields of: finance, banking and insurance, evaluation of investment projects, financing and settlement of investment projects, conducted in financial institutions, e.g. Chase Manhattan, Irving Trust, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Lloyd Bank, Midland Bank, PKO S.A. (New York branch), Bank Handlowy and stock exchanges in: Lyon, Frankfurt, New York, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Zurich.
Prof. Bień is the author and co-author of several hundred studies and publications, including 13 books in the fields of: economics, finance and accounting, banking, capital market, insurance, taxes, domestic and international settlements, evaluation and settlement of investment projects.
