PhD Anna Kociołek-Pęksa, is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (2004). She obtained her doctoral degree, based on a dissertation on the limits of legal regulation of the economy, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University (2010). Since 2011, she has been employed at the Warsaw School of Economics as an assistant professor. In parallel, since 2011, she has been employed at the Main School of Fire Service in Warsaw (currently the Fire Academy) at the Faculty of Safety and Civil Protection Engineering.
He specializes in sociology and philosophy of law, as well as Polish labor law. Her main interests include neuroscience and psychology within the framework of legal and security sciences. She participates in research and development projects in the field of state security and defense. In the years 2013-2016 she led, among others, legal analyzes under the 7th European Framework Grant EDEN (in consortium with, among others, Airbus). He conducts classes for SGH students in the following subjects: basics of law, labor law, tax law and financial law. Promoter of bachelor’s, engineering and master’s theses. Member of the International Commission for the History of Representative and Parliamentary Institutions (ICHRPI) - Austrian Section and the International Law Association (ILA) - Polish Section.
In 2022, she was awarded a bronze medal by the President of the Republic of Poland for long-term service.
