Bogusław Pytlik – is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the Warsaw University. He received his PhD in political science from the Institute of Political Science at the University of Warsaw in 2004, he completed his habilitation in political science in 2014 at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
He has worked at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 1997. In 1999–2005 he was a secretary of Council of the Collegium of Socio-Economics. In the term of 2005–2008 he was a secretary of the Senate, from 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Senate of SGH. He was a member of the Senate Statue Commission in 2011–2012 and in 2012–2016. From 2010 to 2016 he was the editor-in-chief of the Quarterly of the Collegium of Socio-Economics “Studia i Prace”. From 2017 he has been a member of Program Board at European Research Centre on Public Administration (Europejskie Centrum Badań nad Administracją Publiczną). From 2019 he has been a member of the Council in the discipline of politics and administration.
His scientific interests mainly concern selected issues regarding contemporary constitutionalism of Poland and Central European states, constitutional design of contemporary states, with particular emphasis on the structure and organization of the state law as well as selected public policies.
