Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics in the field of International Economic and Political Relations, completed in 1997. Since 1997, employee at the Institute of International Economic Relations of the World Economy College of the Warsaw School of Economics, and since 1999 at the Department of Public Administration, Economic and Social College. PhD in economics obtained in May 2000, and habilitation in economics in December 2008. Position of professor of the Warsaw School of Economics from February 25, 2009. He is the Head of Postgraduate Studies in Audit, Management Control and Accounting. Also involved in non-academic activities. She worked in the Ministry of Finance, she was an Advisor to the President of the National Bank of Poland, and cooperates with the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors. From 2020 to 2023 she was a member of the Council of the Supreme Audit Office
