Marcin Mikołajczyk is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. During his studies he took a one-year scholarship at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg i.Br.
From 2000, he was professionally associated with the SGH Banking Institute. He lectures and exercises in the field of: banking, financial institutions and the institutional environment of the financial sector. Also he is a very active promoter of BA and MA theses.
As part of scientific activity, he is interested in broadly understood banking, banking risk and in particular issues related to financial supervision. M. Mikołajczyk is also active in other activities, such as being a member of: the SGH Senate, the College’s Scientific Council and member of Election Board.
Professionally, he is also associated with the banking supervision. In 2001-2008, he was an employee of the General Inspectorate of Banking Supervision (NBP). Since 2008 he has been employed at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. He is a member of domestic and international bodies involved in analytical and regulatory activities in the area of the banking sector.
