Citizens’ Dialogue “EU-US relations - stateof Play and Perspectives” with Director Ignacio Garcia Bercero (13 September 2018, international conference). Citizens’ Dialogues are public debates with European Commissioners and other EU decision-makers, such as: members of the European Parliament, national, regional and local politicians. The events take the form of a question and answer session. It’s your chance to ask EU politicians questions, make comments and tell them how EU policies affect you. You can also share your ideas on the future of Europe.

20th European Trade Study Group Conference (13-15 September 2018, international conference). On September 13-15, year 2018, the annual scientific conference European Trade Study Group (ETSG) took place at the Warsaw School of Economics. The European Trade Study Group is a forum for academic discussion and research on international trade among universities and research institutes. Participation in ETSG activities is open to all academic and research economists.

The Impact of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) on International Cooperation – Conclusions for EU Members from Central and Eastern Europe (30 November - 01 December 2015; international conference). “The Impact of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) on International Cooperation – Conclusions for EU Members from Central and Eastern Europe” international conference was organized on 30.11-1.12.2015 at Warsaw School of Economics. It analyzed the impact of TTIP on global economic cooperation, on EU economic relations (external and internal) as well as on opportunities, threats and ways to safeguard EU economic and social interests.

EU-China Trade and Economic Relations in the Post-Crisis Era (21-22 November 2013; international conference). The main purpose of the two-day conference was to reflect on a number of challenges that both regions face in the medium and long-term perspective. The first day was devoted to a high-level political and economic dialogue on broad issue of the EU-China trade and economic relations in the aftermath of recent global economic crisis. Both European and Chinese representatives from governments, business, and academia were invited. The second day offered an opportunity for PhD students with their expertise in the field of EU – China economic relations to present their recent papers and research results.

The Conference received a patronate from the Minister of Economics and the Provost of the Warsaw School of Economics.
