Marcin Jamroży, Ph.D., Professor at SGH - University Professor at the SGH Institute of Finance, Director of the Institute of Finance since 2024, Head of the Department of Taxation, Doctor of Economic Sciences (SGH, 2015), Doctor of Laws (Adam Mickiewicz University, 2004), Doctor of Economic Sciences (Europa-Universität Viadrina, 2001), Head of Postgraduate Studies in International Taxation and Postgraduate Studies in Transfer Pricing and Tax Management. Member of the Curriculum Council of the Finance and Accounting Department and the Curriculum Council of the International Master Program in Management Accounting. Member of the first Scientific Council of the Economics and Finance discipline at SGH (2019-2020). Academic supervisor of the Dual Diploma Program implemented by SGH with Europa Universität Viadrina. Initiator and co-organizer of scientific conferences and tax debates. Supervisor of the Student Scientific Circle of Tax Consultancy. Author of more than 140 peer-reviewed publications.


Tax advisor (1999), legal counsel (2009), expert witness (2009). Expert in the Tax Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance (2022-2024), from 2020-2021 Director of the Transfer Pricing and Valuation Department of the MF, in 2021 headed the work of the Department of Sectoral, Local and Gaming Taxes. Member of the Council for Prevention of Tax Avoidance (since 2021), former member of, among others, the Tax Law Advisory Board and the State Examination Commission for Tax Advisory (2010-2018). From 2013 to 2019, he was a partner at the consulting firm Rödl & Partner. He served as a judge of the Disciplinary Court of the Mazovian Branch of the National Chamber of Tax Advisors (2006-2017), and sat on the Board of the Polish Branch of the IFA (2015-2019). He conducts original tax trainings, among others, in cooperation with the Accountants Association in Poland or regional branches of the National Chamber of Tax Advisors.
