The Institute of Value Managemen is part of the Collegium of Business Administration, which was established by SGH Senate Resolution No. 55 of April 22, 1992.
The Institute is focusing on the evolution of business development, and this scientific area identifies new theoretical challenges as well as research opportunities.
The Institute’s strategic research areas include:
- Economic theory of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial management under contemporary globalization and competition - their contribution to the political economy of globalization;
- Creating, measuring and managing value - of businesses, customers, shareholders and stakeholders in the knowledge economy;
- E - business and global networked information and communication technologies as a new area and method of business competition.
- The global service economy, i.e., the rapidly occurring process of servitization of business operations and its implications for the theory and practice of entrepreneurial business management.
