The aim of the course is to transfer knowledge and prepare participants for activities related to the introduction of solutions that improve process management in a healthcare entity, including increasing access to healthcare services.
For the sustainability of the course, it is recommended that management teams at all levels from the areas of medical and administrative operations within the healthcare entity participate. The training sessions are conducted on the premises of the entity.
The course trainers comprise an intercollegiate, interdisciplinary research and teaching team, including advisors and practitioners specializing in operational and strategic management, managerial accounting, as well as experts—practitioners in healthcare management—who employ tools such as Lean, TOC (Theory of Constraints), Six Sigma, and Service Design Thinking.

Process mapping within the organization.
Selection and application of basic modern management tools under the Lean methodology: GEMBA, KANBAN, 5S, and 5WHY.
Selection and application of fundamental tools consistent with the Theory of Constraints: Current Reality Tree (CRT), Future Reality Tree (FRT), Prerequisite Tree (PRT), and Drum Buffer Management (DBM).
Selection of appropriate communication tools in the change management process.
Application of basic methods for managing resistance to change.
