Admissions step by step to undergraduate studies for polish citizens

In order to successfully complete the admission process for SGH, please read the following step-by-step guide.

1. Internet Registration System

To start your application to SGH, you should:

  • create an account in the Internet Registration System and fill in the required forms, in particular: basic personal data, maturity exam/school-leaving grades, and other selected achievements;
  • upload a photo of yourself suitable for identity documents – we will use it for your student ID card;
  • pay an application fee (85 PLN) to the individual bank account number, provided in the Internet Registration System;
  • choose the modes of study you are interested in (or particular programmes if you wish to study in English) and do not forget to arrange them according to your preferences.

Please check your account regularly for important announcements. You may modify most of the data until the end of the registration period (unmodifiable data is marked with a padlock icon). The last day of registration is also your deadline for paying the application fee.

2. Qualification procedure

If you are applying to full time studies in Polish, the qualifying procedure is based on your maturity exam or school-leaving results and entry test result. You may obtain up to 433 qualification points in total.

If you are applying to part time studies in Polish, the qualifying procedure is based on your maturity exam or school-leaving results. You may obtain up to 333 qualification points in total in four subject categories.

If you are applying to studies in English, you will be qualified based on the verification of submitted documents and, if the number of applicants exceeds the number of available seats, the additional factor taken into account is the chronological order of applications. The date of your application is the moment of choosing the appropriate cycle of study in the Internet Registration System.

If you are a laureate or a finalist of a Polish national school contest or have significant sporting achievements, please read more in the

Maturity exam or school-leaving grades

You may submit your grades in four subject categories, but in each subject category results may be submitted from only one subject and results from the same subject cannot be submitted twice (regardless of the subject’s level). A lack of results in one of the categories does not disqualify you from the admission procedure – you simply receive zero points in that category.

4. Document submission

After you are qualified for admission, you will receive an invitation to submit your original documents to SGH within the deadline specified in the admission schedule for the given round.

Qualified candidates are required to submit:

  • the original application form - through ISR (with qualified electronic signature) or directly to SGH;
  • the originals of admission documents that are the basis of qualification, including, in particular, a maturity or secondary-school leaving certificate - only directly to SGH.

The set of required documents must be submitted no later than 3 p.m., official time in the territory of the Republic of Poland on the last day of the specified deadline.

The full list of required documents can be found at

If at the time of document submission you are still a minor, your parents or legal guardians are required to provide you with their written consent concerning your admission to studies. The document will be available through the Internet Registration Sytem. You may also find it here:
