Information about CEEPUS program opportunities for students at SGH Warsaw School of Economics

The main objective of the CEEPUS Agreement (“Central European Exchange Program for University Studies”) is to support academic exchange in the field of education and the professional development of students and academic teachers. It enables the intensification of contacts between universities of the countries which are parties to the Agreement by financing academic mobility.

The CEEPUS program offers:

  • short-term scholarships as part of research internships within the Academic Networks;
  • short-term scholarships as part of the Freemover research internships;
  • short-term scholarships for summer schools and intensive courses.

Applications for foreign scholarships under CEEPUS may be:

  • students,
  • PhD students,
  • researchers.

Currently, the signatories of the Agreement are Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo (University of Pristina).

CEEPUS III Amadeus network – for students

As part of the CEEPUS III - AMADEUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) program, of which SGH is a member, in the academic year 2021/2022, students of the Warsaw School of Economics were awarded scholarships for study in:

  • University of Zagreb, Croatia – one 4-month scholarship for an undergraduate or graduate student. The candidate should meet the criteria as in the CEC program.

Required application documents:

  • a scan of the transcript of grades (with the calculated cumulative average) issued by the Dean’s Office of the Undergraduate Study or the Dean’s Office of the Master’s Study at the Warsaw School of Economics;
  • a scan of the certificate confirming the knowledge of the English language;
  • a scan of the cover letter.

Recruitment to the program for a. 2021/2022:

  • winter term: June 15, 2021
  • summer term: October 31, 2021

Scholarships were also awarded to students participating in the Central Europe Connect program.

Departure procedures for students

SGH students participating in the program are required to follow the procedures applicable to all SGH students.

After returning from mobility:

According to the “Principles of Academic Exchange Implementation under the Central European Program of University Studies CEEPUS” (points 5 and 6), after the completed mobility, the scholarship holder submits to International Centre:

  • signed by the Coordinator-Foreign Partner “Letter of Confirmation” (this form is printed from the system as part of a specific application);
  • a copy of the “Mobility Report Student” form completed in the system as part of a specific application (in English);
  • train or airline tickets and boarding passes in the case of travel by air;
  • mobility report.

The scholarship holder is obliged to enter scans of the “Letter of Confirmation” and “Mobility Report” documents into the application in the system. NCO Polska only accepts copies of the “Letter of Confirmation” and “Report” generated from the system with “QR” codes.
