The dean can accept the application and give the positive decision to student’s application.
Repeating the course and conditional enrollment for the upcoming semester is not possible when:
- student of 1st semester has failed more than 1 exam,
- student of 2nd or next semester has failed more than two exams,
- student needs to repeat the same course again.
The deadline of passing the course in the situation of conditional enrollment for the upcoming semester can’t be longer than one semester unless the repeated course is opened in every second semester.
Decision of repeating semester and conditional continuing studies exclude the possibility of another decision of repeating the same course and re-decision of continuing studies and exclude the possibility of repeating semester.
Application for conditional enrollment for upcoming semester is available in Virtual Dean’s Office. It should be submitted within 14 days from the date of:
- finishing examination session in second term
- finishing examination session in prolonged term
- commission exam.
In the situation of not opening repeated course student can ask for:
- postponing the date of passing the course on the next semester;
- passing the course in the individual mode.
A student of 2nd or subsequent semester may be directed to repeat the semester if:
- did not receive permission to repeat the subject and conditional entry for the next semester,
- did not pass more than two subjects in a given semester.
It is not possible to repeat the semester:
- in relation to the 1st semester,
- in the case of repeating the same semester again.
Repeating a semester consists in re-attending classes in subjects not passed in the repeated semester, and then passing these classes.
In justified cases, at the student’s request, the dean may agree to continue foreign language courses in the repeated semester.
Student needs to enroll for the repeated course by her/himself in USOS according to the Schedule of semester declarations.
