The “Edward Altman Lecture Series” was inaugurated on 14 April 2016 by Professor Edward Altman. Participation in the Edward Altman Lecture Series provides a rare opportunity to discuss practical problems with a group of eminent and experienced economists.

Edward Altman Lecture Series 2024

The 8th edition of the “Edward Altman Lecture Series” will take place on Tuesday 11 June 2024 at 10.30–13.30 at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in auditorium I in the building C. The event is organized by the Department of Financial System and the Doctoral School of SGH.

The guest of the in-person event will be Professor Edward Altman, who will give a lecture “Global zombie companies: measurements, determinants and outcomes”.

After the lecture there will be a discussion. The event will be conducted in English.
