Starting from 26 June, on the second floor of the gallery of the Main Hall of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics the exhibition of photographs on Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) art and architecture will be open to the public.
The exhibition entitled “Artsakh – a heritage in danger. An exhibition of photographs by Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan and others” is an event accompanying the annual meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP), during which new authorities of the Conference will be elected. The guests of honour at this conference to be held from 26th till 28th June, are the Rector of the Yerevan State University and the President of the Conference of Rectors of Armenia, Prof. Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, as well as Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan, Director of the Diplomatic School at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition with Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Poland Alexander Arzoumanian as a guest of honour will take place on June 26th at 18:45 in Building G of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
The exhibition curator and main author of the exhibition on the endangered heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) is Dr. Vahe Gabrielyan.
The photographs presented in the exhibition show monasteries, churches, castles, museums and bridges – built by the Armenian community over the centuries, now under threat of destruction or change of use.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Monday to Friday between 10:00–16:00 from June 26th until July 26th.
