Paola Bongini is Full Professor of Banking and Finance at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research interests are in empirical banking, financial regulation, financial literacy and financial education, serving as a member of the Scientific Panel of the Italian National Strategy for Financial, Insurance and Pension Education. Her most recent interests include sustainable finance and AI in finance. Her work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, British Accounting Review, Small Business Economics, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others.

Francesca Mattassoglio is an Associate Professor of Economic Law at the University of Milano Bicocca. Qualified as full professor in 2023. She holds a PhD in Constitutional Law from the University of Milan. She is a member of the CryptoAssetLab and of the Ph.D. Committee of Business for Society, University of Milan Bicocca. Her research focuses on the impact of technological innovation on the financial system (Fintech) and its regulation, with special reference to artificial intelligence, crypto-assets, and central banks’ digital currencies. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences. She wrote 4 monographs and over 80 other publications.

Piotr Tereszkiewicz teaches private law and comparative law at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He is also a Senior Affiliated Researcher at the University of Leuven. His recent research focuses on comparative insurance contract law, in particular its digitalisation and consumerization.
