We cordially invite you to participate in the conference aimed at highlighting the role and significance of smart business, smart cities, and smart society in the development of a smart economy while respecting the requirements of sustainable development. The conference will summarize the work of an inter-university team of scientists and economic practitioners seeking solutions and recommendations to overcome obstacles to sustainable development in the era of progressing smartification of the economy.
The presentation of results and discussion on further research on these issues will explore whether, and if so, how, it is possible to balance smart business, smart cities, and a smart society with the requirements of sustainable development.
The conference „Smart Business, Smart Cities, Smart Society: Towards New Paradigm of Development” will be held on November 29, 2024 in a hybrid mode.

The conference is organized by Institute of Enterprise, Collegium of Business Administration, jointly with the International Economic Policy Unit (ZMPE), Institute of International Studies (ISM), Collegium of Socio-Economics (KES) at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, is to present and discuss research conducted in the frameworks of the following grants:
- Statutory Research Grant: Smart business – smart regions – smart society: on the way to a new paradigm (1.1. KNOP/S22), led by Hanna Godlewska-Majkowska,
- National Science Centre (NCN) „Smart cities: Modelling, Indexing and Querying Smart City Competitiveness” (Nr DEC-2020/39/B/HS4/00579), led by Anna Visvizi.
