The SGH Honorary Ambassadors were first appointed by SGH Rector, Prof. Piotr Wachowiak, on the SGH Celebration Day, 8 June 2022. Since then, every year during the SGH Day, this group has been expanded by new distinguished people.
ENTERING CANDIDATES
We invite you to enter candidates for SGH Ambassadors. The candidates should meet the criteria as laid down in the Rules for Awarding the “SGH Ambassador” Honorary Title.
Each member of the SGH staff has the right to enter a candidate. Please send your entries to the following e-mail address: absolwenci@sgh.waw.pl
The entry should include:
- the filled-out registration form,
- the candidate’s consent to be entered as a candidate.

During the SGH Celebration Day on 13th June 2024, the group of honorary SGH Ambassadors was joined by: Dr Maksymilian Kwiek – Associate Professor and Deputy Head of School (Education) of the School of Economic, Social and Political Sciences, University of Southampton (UK), Professor Anna Łupina-Wegener – Professor of International Management and Organisational Behaviour, Head of the Centre for Culture and Creativity in International Business at Zurich University for Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and Grzegorz Radziejewski, Deputy Head of Unit, Directorate General for Budget, European Commission.
- Honorary Ambassadors of SGH appointed in 2023
On 22 June 2023 the group of Honorary Ambassadors of SGH was joined by Michał Rutkowski, Ph.D., Senior Director and Head of Global Practice, Social Protection, Labor and Jobs (since August 2023: Regional Director, Human Development (EDU, HEALTH, SOC. PROT), Europe and Central Asia) at the World Bank, and Mehmet Tosun, Professor of Economics at the School of Business at the University of Nevada UNR in Reno, Director of the Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship and Director of International Business Programs (since January 2024: Chief International Officer).

SGH Honorary Ambassadors were first appointed by SGH Rector Prof. Piotr Wachowiak on this year’s SGH Celebration Day, on 8 June 2022.
Among those invited to cooperate were: Iwona Duda – President of PKO Bank Polski, Lidia Filus – Professor of Mathematics and Head of the Chair of Mathematics at Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, Marcin Kacperczyk – Professor of Finance at Imperial College Business School, Andrzej Skrzypacz – Theodore J. Kreps Professor of Economics at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Paweł Tynel – Partner, COO at EY Poland, Jan Werner – Professor of Economics at the University of Minnesota.
