Shaping The Engineers’ Personal & Interpersonal Skills for Enterprises & Universities (STEPS4EU)

STEPS4EU aims to enhance the transversal competences of managers and students participating in engineering projects across the EU. Transversal competences, integrated with technical skills, add value in project delivery, create a sustainable project environment and provide future-proof project management. The implementation of the project starts by defining the competency baseline and investigates new competencies needed today. Secondly, STEPS4EU develops “Knowledge capsules” – innovative, flexible and free to use educational tools – to reshape existing curricula to meet dynamic and volatile market demands. Finally, the results and materials are published in the form of handbook.

The project is carried out by a consortium of 5 partners institutions from Europe: Universita Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore (the Leader) – Italy, SGH Warsaw School of Economics – Poland, TUAS Technische Hochschule Aschaffenburg – Germany, Turun Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy – Finland, LOI Leidse Onderwijsinstellingen B.V. – Netherlands.
