WHAT IS THE TRIPLE CROWN?
The Triple Crown Accreditations refer to a set of three prestigious accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, awarded to business schools around the world. Institutions that hold the Triple Crown are recognized as being among the best globally in their field. It is a confirmation of the highest quality of our graduates’ diplomas and a testament to our institution’s excellence at the highest level.
Only around 136 schools worldwide hold the Triple Crown, representing less than 1 percent of all business schools that have successfully undergone rigorous accreditation processes. These accreditations verify compliance with strict standards across all key areas of activity.
International accreditations help increase the number and quality of prospective students — especially from geographically and culturally distant countries — and contribute to the development of research collaboration with top business schools worldwide.

AACSB and EQUIS, as the most important institutional accreditations—covering all aspects of managing economic universities worldwide—require aspiring institutions to meet a comprehensive list of standards. At the same time, they encourage discussion about best practices, inspiration, and solutions that can be implemented.

AACSB Accreditation
AACSB Accreditation (Association for Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business) is considered the gold standard for business education worldwide. It is recognized worldwide as the highest standard of quality, with only 6 percent of the world’s leading business schools achieving AACSB accreditation and displaying the prestigious seal. AACSB-accredited schools are trailblazers in teaching, research, and societal impact.

EQUIS Accreditation
EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is the leading international system for the assessment of teaching quality and study conditions at business schools. It is awarded to the best business schools by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
226 business schools across the world, including 119 in Europe, have earned the prestigious accreditation, such as the London Business School, INSEAD in France, or the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
As we can read on EFMD Global’s website, EQUIS is the most comprehensive institutional accreditation system for business and management schools. It is acknowledged worldwide by students, faculty, employers, corporate clients and the media, often being a pre-requisite for entry to rankings. Quality benchmark in ten areas, EQUIS accreditation ensures a rigorous quality control, benchmarking a school against international standards in terms of governance, programmes, students, faculty, research, internationalisation, ethics, responsibility and sustainability, as well as engagement with the world of practice.
With its broad assessment scope, EQUIS covers all the activities of a school, including degree and non-degree programmes, as well as doctoral teaching programmes, knowledge generation and contribution to the community. EQUIS helps strive for excellence in an on-going improvement process following each accreditation or re-accreditation visit. EQUIS considers the great diversity of national cultures and educational systems around the world. It recognises that it is essential to understand the particularities of the local context in every assessment process.

AMBA accreditation
The AMBA accreditation was the first of the triple crown accreditations we earned.
The Association of Masters in Business Administration(AMBA) confirms the highest quality of educational services among MBA programs. Accreditation is issued by Association of MBAs. An AMBA evaluation considers factors such as facility, programs, staff qualifications, and student achievements.
AMBA has already given its accreditation to 265 schools in 80 countries. In Poland only seven universities have it. Only 2% of the business schools in the world are distinct enough to claim the AMBA accreditation.
