Analysis of the relationships between the technological demands, digital well-being, employee well-being, and job performance of managers in a hybrid work environment

Grounded in the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory, this project examines the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) demands on managers’ well-being, job performance, and presenteeism in hybrid work environments. It highlights digital well-being as an essential resource for mitigating the negative effects of ICT demands. The practical objective of the research is to propose standards, principles, or behavioral patterns related to enhancing digital well-being and managing remote/hybrid work. It is worth emphasizing that the original construction of a scale for measuring digital well-being will serve as a tool for assessing this variable, thereby enabling further steps in the validation of the instrument for future studies.
